Wastedge Job Dispatching generally works on all Windows Mobile 5 and later devices with the following requirements;
Processor: 400MHz minimum
Memory: 128MB ROM – 64MB SDRAM
Communications: GSM/EDGE
Recommended features;
GPS: Either built-in or external – allows positional information to be captured
This would only be needed if intending to user Wastedge GPS tracking
SD Card: External storage expansion. 512MB -2Gb for data or picture storage.
Camera: 2MP still or video functionality - enables capturing bin or site information per job.
Connectivity: Bluetooth, WiFi - allows quick updating of devices or uploading of images/data.
Comunications: GPRS/EGPRS - provides much faster communication in the field.

Symbol/Motorola MC70 – Has required + recommended features + Ruggedized larger version with barcode scanner.
ASUS P525 – Has required + SD Card, Camera, GPRS, WiFi, Bluetooth (No GPS)
HTC P3300 – Has all required features + SD Card, Camera, GPRS/EGPRS (No GPS)
E-Ten X500 - Has required + recommended features

Some units can be purchased without GPS functionality. While slightly cheaper, no positional tracking will be available for trucks/staff.
Inbuilt GPS is the preferred option for reliability and cost, however most Bluetooth devices can be connected to a external GPS module.
If using a Camera for taking pictures of Bins, an external SD card slot is required for necessary expansion of disk space. Either 512MB or 1GB recommended.
Some devices can have a touch screen only or full keyboard functionality.
